Donation Funds
Annual Fund: Supports AAS in furthering our mission through new projects, services, and initiatives.
Memorial Donation: Recognizes the importance of honoring those who have died by offering updates to our national directory of support groups, support suicide loss events offered (such as our Healing After Suicide Loss Summit), and development of resources.
Membership Donation: AAS membership dues should not be a barrier to accessing the benefits that the AAS has to offer. Many of these benefits provide members with access to information about the latest research in suicide and life-threatening behavior, networking opportunities, and professional development. These experiences are more important now than ever before.
National Center for the Prevention of Youth Suicide: Allows us to provide critical resources to individuals, families, and mental health professionals searching for information on understanding and preventing young people’s suicide and suicidal experiences.
Attempt Survivor and Lived Experience Annual Conference Scholarship: Provides funding to support the registration to the Annual Conference for those whom have attempted suicide or have lived experience (ASLE), includes individuals who have experienced a suicide attempt, suicidal thoughts and feelings.
The American Association of Suicidology (AAS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit association dedicated to the understanding and prevention of suicide. All donations made to AAS are tax-deductible.
