Call For Accreditation Site Examiners!

The American Association of Suicidology (AAS) invites experienced professionals in leadership roles within the crisis field to join our team of Accreditation Site Examiners. The aim of the Accreditation Program is to ensure that crisis service organizations worldwide provide the highest quality of crisis care.  

Site Examiners are contracted professionals who undergo vetting and rigorous training on AAS’s accreditation process and standards. Possessing extensive knowledge of crisis operations, these Examiners are committed to upholding excellence in crisis care. They are offered strategic assignments to organizations based on their expertise, familiarity with the type of program seeking accreditation, professional background in the crisis field, and individual availability.

Complete the application to be considered. Submissions will be accepted until May 10, 2024, at 5pm EST.

Is your organization current on organizational dues?

We provide member benefits to the employees of your organization, crisis center, or coalition. Employees are welcome to register under the organizational name for membership discounts in training, conferences, and products. Volunteers may also be included in the organizational membership, but must submit a sponsorship letter from the organization.
