    The National Self Harm Network offers a discussion forum for people who self harm and self injure along with families and health care advice to share their stories

    The Self-Injury and Related Issues web site aims to raise awareness about self-harm and self-injury and to empower those who hurt themselves as a way of coping. The site contains information and resources for individuals who self-harm/self-injure, for their families and friends, and for professionals and volunteers committed to supporting individuals who self-harm/self-injure.

    The Bristol Crisis Service for Women provides self-injury/self-harm support for women through a helpline, information service, and training.

    The Basement Project provides support groups for those who have been abused as children and people who self-harm. They also provide training, consultation and supervision for workers in community and mental health services. They provide a range of publications offering practical guidance for workers. They have books for service-users offer many creative ideas based on the experience of others who have journeyed through similar difficulties. All are written in an accessible style.
