
Attempt Survivor/Lived Experience
To elevate the voices and insights of people with lived experience of suicide attempt in the service of a more fully informed and just understanding of suicide, and better support for those impacted by it.

Clinical
To ensure that the clinical care people receive is more fully informed by the state of the art in Suicidology; and to integrate clinical voices, experiences, and needs into the greater mission of Suicidology.

Crisis Services
To represent and organize all facets of the crisis services continuum (Crisis Call Centers, Mobile Crisis Outreach, and Crisis Residential) to assess need, develop strategies, advocate for work and needs of crisis systems in providing gold standard care.

Impacted Family & Friends
The mission statement is simple: to help support family and friends emotionally impacted by a loved one’s suicidal experiences. In the interest of inclusivity we currently do not define further “suicidal experiences”.

Loss Survivors
To elevate the voices and insights of people who have lost somone to suicide, in the service of a more fully informed and just understanding of suicide, and better support for those impacted by it.

Public Health and Prevention Programs
To promote the work of Suicidology informed prevention professionals, such as school psychologist and counselors, epidemiologists, and public health advocates.
