The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline connects people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress with trained crisis counselors 24/7. It is a national network of local crisis centers offering free, confidential support across the United States.
Crisis Text Line
Crisis Text Line offers free, 24/7 text‑based mental health support and crisis intervention from trained volunteer counselors in the United States. International affiliates also operate in Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. Trained counselors offer support 24/7, every day of the year.
Trans Lifeline
Trans Lifeline is a grassroots nonprofit providing direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis. The hotline is staffed entirely by trans community members.
Veterans Crisis Line
Veterans Crisis Line provides 24/7, confidential support for Veterans in crisis or for anyone concerned about a Veteran. You do not need to be enrolled in VA benefits or health care to connect.
