AAS HAS EARNED CANDID’S PLATINUM SEAL OF TRANSPARENCY FOR 2024

The American Association of Suicidology (AAS) has achieved the Platinum Seal of Transparency Rating on Candid (formerly Guidestar), the highest rating from the world’s largest source of information on non-profit organizations. This rating puts AAS in the top 0.1% of charities nationally in terms of transparency.

The Platinum Seal of Transparency indicates that AAS shares clear and important information with the public about our goals, strategies, capabilities, achievements, and progress indicators that highlight the impact that AAS makes in the world.

Potential donors can find in-depth financial information about AAS as they consider a gift that supports our mission: To promote the understanding and prevention of suicide and support those who have been affected by it.
